Workspace
- create intro 2 flash from designer
- rulers
- grid
- snapping ( cmd / )
Just draw
- drawing objects off!
- pencil ( Y key )
-- pencil mode
- paint brush ( B key )
- oval ( O key )
- rect ( try rollinng over tool )
- color window ( shift F9 )
- properties window ( shift F3 )
- strokes, fills
Selection Tool
- Arrow tool, Cursor Tool ( V key )
- single click select fill
- double click select stroke and fill
- shapes cut other shapes
- draw box to cut shape
- touch edge of shape to distort

- frame by frame animation
- f6 - duplicate keyframe
- f7 - new empty keyframe
- f5 - new frame
- onion skinning

How to cheat in Flash CS4
Adobe Flash is the standard for creating interactive vector graphics and
animation on the Web. Students will explore the foundation assets and techniques
used within Flash and build several small projects as a basis to create
a large portfolio of vector-based interactive animations. Prerequisite: SMD-1020,
Foundations of Visual Computing, or equivalent.
COURSE REQUIREMENTS:
There will be a homework assignment every week. Students will post homework on a mini-portfolio site that we'll create in the 5th class.
GRADING:
60% Homework
40% Attendance/Participation
